Am I getting TOOOOOO into living by the beach? I know you can purchace all kinds of signs like these but I wanted to make one. I am thinking I will put a coat of varnish on it and hang it in my garden. I used my Chartpak stencils and even coiled the wire myself.

I am on my third bottle so far. I decided this year we were not going to have just at Christmas. I have passed my love of this creamy goodness on to my son. I have to say. No you cannot have a 3rd glass. Granted his could use all the extra calories and fat. But there just seems to be something wrong about 3 glasses. Eggnog is one of those family traditions I do not have to worry about passing on. I think other than a my Aunt Janets and a variety from my home town this Jersey Milk brand would rank right up there. I do make my own but somethings are just better purchased. Good thing there is a Fresh Market near. The official I really like eggnog milk mustache

Call it what ever you want. But I am glad it is finally fashionable. I have been doing this forever. I have always found it to be a fun challenge. A test to my creative ablity.
This was a pink teddybear ballarina frame with a broken mirror in the top. I thought since we move oceanside it might be nice to have a tiny bit of the decor. THis is going in the mudroom.
I was going for the Beach Chic or Beach Casual look. The push pins are sand dollars.
Pretty Little things November 18, 2008
I Like pretty little things. I like making our meals pretty too. Dinner is a big ordeal at our house. It is family time. No TV. We discuss our days, our plans and life in general. I work from home so I am able to cook dinner almost every night. I like cooking. I find it relaxing – like another creative endeavor. Last night we had escargot, crab cakes, salad, glazed baby carrots and cheese grits. Maxx was not a fan of the escargot. Then what normal 5 year old would be?
The flower pots are embellished with Clearsnaps new Design Adhesives. They are double sided sticky images that can be embossed, glittered and I am sure many other things. I wanted to decorate the pots with more than crystals so I embossed them with Asparagus embossing powder. Notice one has a ribbon and none of the others do? Maxx has a little crush on a girl at school and he wanted me to make one for her.
Ho HO HO November 17, 2008
This was made with one of the new Christmas stamps released from Unity 2 weeks ago. I used a Sakura Glitter Pen to highlight the Ho in each card so it would say HO HO HO. It might not show up so well on the monitor bt it looks shiny in person. I actually got out my Wizard and a Cuttle bug texture folder too. The inks are Ancient Page Indigo, magenta and fern leaf.

It has been quite rainy here the last couple of days. Maxx was getting a little stir crazy so I sent him out to play in the back yard. Nothing like playing in a puddle.

I love this paper collection from Kaiser Craft. I think it matches the Unity stamps so well. The color scheme is so happy and warm. It was in the mid 60’s here today. Not so shabby for November. I used the little swirly stamp kind of like waves. In my head they were waves.

I have not posted a layout in quite a while. This one is a bit older. Last year maybe more. I promised myself I am going to catch up. I ordered pictures from Costco this morning.
