A stamp wheel (rollagraph by clearsnap) some ink and a little Prism Paper make a quick and easy gift box. Recycled some cardboard from all the amazon boxes that have piled up. The heart is a stamp I made myself. I have not decided what to say. I think it could be almost any occasion with this color combination and the correct choice of words.

Commitments… December 17, 2008
I have none. For the first time in almost 5 years I am not on a Design Team. I am not under any contracts and it feels great. It is also odd at the same time. From an organized stand point the more you do the more you can do? I am not sure if I am conveying what I am trying to say. But when you are under contract to perform that is what you do. Can I tell you I have not done a darn thing since Dec. 1st. I am still a Freelance Designer and I have plenty work to keep me busy. But I get to choose when I will say yes to an assignment and when I will say NO Thank you. I am not saying I will not opt for another DT. They have their positives and they have their negatives. (those topics I will save for another day) Breaks are good.
This is who I have been spending my time with.
I have to laugh…. December 13, 2008
I have to laugh at myself. Somewhere along the line when bottle caps were the “IN” thing I purchase a bag with about 18 in it. All sorts of pretty colors. Last week I decided I had to use them. I will not say that my creativity was overwhelming in its flow. Maybe if it is burried deep, deep within a tree it would look attractive?
Its raining,sort of… December 10, 2008
As logic would have it today I was going to spray paint 3 projects. To bad I could not get to them yesterday when it was 60 and sunny. It is still 60 and no sun in sight. Oh, well another day. I will simply shift projects around.
My cards is snowing. This card does not show up well at all. It is a navy cardstock and it did not photograph very well. This is another image from Odd Bird Planet Stamps. Man are they cute!!! Some of you might also know them as Just Johanna. Either way I like their stuff.
Gnomes, Smurfs and Trolls Oh, MY! December 9, 2008
Another version of the gnome. Now if I could only find a SMURF stamp! Oh, maybe a troll too. I would totally be reliving my childhood. Well, not really because then we would have to add in Sally SeaWeed, Chia pets, rainbows and unicorns.
First Dog December 6, 2008
The search is on for the First Dog and one of my online aquaintences – Bernie Berlin -has the solution. She runs an animal rescue. http://www.aplacetobark.blogspot.com/ She is an artist, author, animal lover and from what I gather all around great person. She has a great puppy that would be perfect. All that needs to happen is for the Obamas to find out about it. So if any of you out there have any contacts forward them to her blog and get those girls their dog!
Lost a few days December 4, 2008
Sometimes I get burried in my work and I forget that I am supposed to come up for air. I lost a few days over the weekend with the inlaws in town and Maxx home from school. I have been working in CS4 using Illustrator creating marketing material for CHA. Unfortunately I cannot show anything until after the show in January.
This Cute little GNOME is from Odd Bird Planet. He came to me in an image swap. I think I might just have to order him. I have always thought gnomes were adorable. I like Smurfs too. I will post a few more images from the swap later.
