CHA was great. Nothing like seeing old friends and making new ones, but it is always wonderful to come home. I worked with Clearsnap Ink at the show doing make and takes and demonstrating how to use to use their new product SMOOCH. If I could have replicated myself I would have. This new ink was a huge hit and I barely had time to breath. I will try to put up some samples and show a few pictures after I recover.

I have not shown a layout in a while and I thought it might be a good time. CHA has been very busy for me. I love being at tradeshows and seeing old friends but man the work is hard.

These are the home decor items for the Green Gallery Display at CHA. Yes, they are going in my suitcase. I actually bought one just for this event. Many of you who know my travel style know I travel very light. (I took a backpack for a 3 week trip to Europe while I was 6 months pregnant.) I feel like I could pack for a small army in this suitcase. It is holding these upcycled candle sticks formerly one giant baluster, most of my Designer Showcase materials, my press kits and my cloths. This thing is ginormous. I will go back to my trusty backpack after this show. I look forward to being in California by this time tomorrow. CHA WINTER SHOW HERE I COME!!!!
Another upcycled, repurposed piece January 20, 2009
I have totally been into sewing lately. I have started trying to see what I can give another life and purpose with minimal effort. This purse was a pant leg that I embroidered on and added a felt Prima flower and a vintage necklace as the chain. I will be leaving to head to California for the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) Show. I am looking forward to the designer showcase agein this year.
Yes, It is Tuesday! Plus a gift set trio January 13, 2009
I am so happy Monday is over. Now productivity can begin. I had a few humps and hurdles to over come yesterday and I am not going to let them keep me down or interfere with what needs to be complete. I am a task/goal oriented person. I need to stick to what I do best and simply do it. (That was my little motivational speech to myself this morning) Go ME!

Plus the Designer Showcase , meetings and a few classes. I hope to also be able to spend a bit of time with my online friends in REAL LIFE. What a concept?
