My son and I are on our summer holiday. My husband will join us in a few weeks. So I regret to say that the only thing I will be posting until Late September will be photos from our trip. Maybe you will find them inspirational or maybe they will just be nice pictures. So what ever they conjure up in your mind I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I did taking them. Time Flies August 6, 2009
The title of this layout is quite appropriate. The picture of my son was taken 2 years ago at Christmas. It was on the tracks by my inlaws home in Kentucky. It only seems like yesterday that we were living in Ohio. I find it hard to believe that we have been in North Carolina over a year and a half now. It is very different in the south. To me different is good. I like change. The opportunity to meet new people, discover new traditions and to explore a different part of our great country at our leisure – is to me wonderful. The moving truck was not unloaded when we had our first out of town guests. They happened to be vacationing here in town and wanted to stop by and see the new place. Sometimes living downhere by the ocean I feel like I am on vacation- It is a wonderful place to be. I wish everyone had the opportunity to live in a beach town once in their lives. Things move a tad bit slower, people laugh a bit more and the food is incredible. Being in the south is pretty good. I know our stay here is limited. So I am going to enjoy every moment I can! Because Time FLIES!
