Thanks for joining in on another Sizzix Bloghop showcasing Eileen Hull’s soon to be released ScoreBoard Dies; this first stop showcases the Scallop Box.Something new to the hop is a CONTEST…. YES! A contest.Check out all of the stops on the Blog Hop and decide which project you like best. Vote for your favorite by posting a comment on the blog.Be sure to vote because there are TWO PRIZES: one for the project that receives the most votes and one to a random person (could be you) posting a comment for any of the participating blogs.
There was an additional challenge for the designers. It was to incorporate office supplies into the design if we wanted to. Now how did I do that you might be asking? Well, I am a SUCKER for a contest. On my project I incorporated the following items:paper clipsbailing twinejewelers tagsmetal rimmed tagbookplatespacking foam sheetsbinder clipshole punchStamper with rolling lettersDictionary pagesThe jewelry tags were inked with Clearsnap Lime Pastel Chalk Ink and used as leaves. The metal rimmed tags were inked with Clearsnap Chalk Ink. The flowers used are also from Sizzix and are called Tattered Flowers. I cut them out on dictionary pages and sprayed them with SMOOCH Spritz by Clearsnap. The hole project is held together with Aleenes Original Tacky Glue . While the glue is drying I recommend using a rubber band to hold it all together. Don’t forget to vote
Remember the ScoreBoard die used in the project will be given to the participating designer whose project gets the most votes. YOU CAN WIN TOO! The other prize will be a ScoreBoard die from the first collection. To qualify to win, you must write a comment on any of the participating designer’s sites.Voting ends the April 5th at 6 PM (EST).
