No I am not talking about the song. (I do like the song) This is the add on the back cover of RubberStampMadness Summer 2009 issue. I cannot wait to see the actual copy and see my name in teeny tiny letters. Chalk ink is one of my favorite items to use when crafting? Do you have a favorite that you cannot craft without?

Color Combos November 4, 2008
I have created so many things with this color combination. Aqua, red and Brown. You would think it would be getting old by now yet each time I use it I think I like it even more. It is so versatile. What are your favorites?
I recycled a fabric scrap into this card instead of using ribbon.
Koh i Noor Pencils and a Dove blender Pen are my favorites too. Maybe I am a little old skool but that is okay. Nothing wrong with having a few favorites.

Hip Hop & Hurricanes oh my September 4, 2008
WELCOME to all of you joining me from Sarah ’s blog in our fabulous Unity Stamp Company Hip Hop Thursday!!! I am thrilled to be playing again!!! (If you haven’t just joined me from Sarah’s blog, hop on over and start at Unity’s blog and follow the hops where you’ll find tons of Unity goodness and at the very end, some blog candy!!
http://www.justwen.blogspot.com/ Is Wendy Chang. She has a really cool layout of the Tokyo Tower up for your viewing pleasure. I will make it there one day it is on my list of “PLACES”. Speaking of places to go stop by the actual unity site and check out the kit of the month. I have decided that I am going to make my Christmas cards out of the Angel. Which is my segue into the September Kit of the Month – Friendship, Love, Miracles Isn’t it CUTE! Only $24 plus $5 s/h. That’s a TON-O-Stamps!!!
This card is from the Tiny Trinty Collection as well as the “TOGETHER” Card.
The next cards is
my personal favorite right
now. I used it about a half a dozen times last week and I have a few more plans for it. The words “I love u” were written in a clear Sakura glaze pen. then inked over. I wanted it to look like it was carved into the tree. I also gave the card dimmension by cutting it out and mounting it on blue cardstock and highlighting the pink parts with 3d Sakura of America Pink glitter glaze. I wish you could see the detail. It is pretty cool.
****On a Special note***….. Each week Unity will be selecting a Charity to donate a 10% of the Hip Hop Thursday proceeds. This week it is to Operation Jonathan.
I personally can relate since I went through the same thing with my 3rd pregnancy and lost the baby at 24 weeks. A Donation Button will be to the website under the SINGLES Screen and if PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO DONATE an EXTRA $1.00 they can. It is completely OPTIONAL.
Enjoy your day. I am off to prepare for Hurricane Hanna…………………….
Withdrawl & Glitter _ Beware August 27, 2008

I have been going through complete electronic with drawl. I did not know how much I actually enjoy blogging. I think I will make a few posts to catch up with some photos. One set in particular. My boy started KINDERGARTEN!!!!! I cannot believe he hopped on the bus and did not look back. No hug for the Momma. It was harder for me than it was for him. I am going to miss our morning cuddle time and his constent chatter.
Now for the glitter part. Pretty sure the culprit for the hard drive crash was pink and silver glitter. I have no clue how glitter would get in there? Not like I had an accident a week before the crash when it looked like Tinker Bell had exploded in our house. Glitter was everywhere. It was the UltraFine glitter so it was even harder to clean up. I managed to take it bakc to Ohio with me too. I even accidentally glittered Ben. He is my friends new baby boy. Needless to say his father was not happy with his sparkling boy.
I will upload pictures later this afternoon.
Edited: Simply random pictures of projects.
Simple cards March 26, 2008
When I get in a creative rut I like to make cards. They are quick and they are something I can always use. Sometimes I make them for an upcoming season knowing they will get used and then other times I just make random cards from stuff in my stash. In this grouping I tried to stick to a particular color theme. The pattern paper is Frances Meyer and the stamps are from Unity Stamp Co. Yes, they are very simple and sometimes that is just what is needed to give a little creative boost.
