Spring

Star box with clay accents

Yes, It is the official start of Spring.  How do I know?  I have my first sinus infection.  In my world it is not spring until that has occurred.  My alergies are horendous and it is a given that the first week of Spring I will become ill.  So for now I will curl up under the sheets until it is gone.  As a crafter I have been branching out into other mediums.  I am fascinated with clay, molds and resins.  I have created a few pieces  and will post them bit by bit as time allows.  Here is an americana type box with air dry clay and molds from the crafty Lady.  She is a fantastic gal from down under who makes simply the best and easiest to use molds in the world.  I love her stuff.

Also, Each week Angela from Unity will post her “Gift of the Week” kit on her unity stamp company blog. If you would like to be considered for the drawing you simply need to leave a comment on the “Gift of the Week” blog entry. You can qualify for the first “Gift of the Week” starting tonight. Angela will post Gratitude = Joy set on her blog at 5:00 Central Time. The winner will be chosen at random Tuesday at 5:00 pm central time. We will ship your product directly to your door. BONUS! Between now and April 30, if you subscribe to her blog you will also be added to a large drawing being given away May 1st that will include a full set of her handles as well as 3 Unity Stamp Kits.

Since the weekly contest is open to US/Canadian addresses only, Unity will offer a separate, international ONLY, winner on Thursday April 10th.

Go Check them out!

My website http://365daysofcrafts.com Bio- Growing up in a small mid-western town, Niki Meiners was surrounded by a modest, resourceful and very entrepreneurial family. Her simple upbringing spurred her "Can do" attitude and gave her the confidence to try any challenge placed before her. She knew there was more out there than just her small town and set off after high school to explore the world. It was through these travels that she discovered her love of art and her desire to make the world a prettier place. It was not until she suffered a paralyzing illness that she realized she wanted to reconsider her corporate career as a Chief Paper Pusher, and her thoughts immediately turned to her first passion, art. In 2003 she began an odyssey that would take her from product design to publication and everywhere in between. She is known for her distinctive, high quality creations that feature a diverse mix of styles and highly creative approach to even the smallest detail. Niki is an Idea Architect, easily outlining every project from concept to completion. Her creations are simultaneously beautiful and functional and her in depth knowledge of the industry allows her to produce projects with a specific understanding of both the consumers and the manufacturers. This knowledge has allowed her work to be featured in the industries leading craft and lifestyle publications and manufacturers’ websites. nikimeiners at gmail.com
