Artsy friends & stamps

I sweet dear friend left a comment on my blog and it gave me a chuckle.  I am also going to remember her comment for later use.  Since it is quite applicable to me.

Don’t know if my name will come through with the wrong spelling. I’m not really that stupid. I do have an excuse though. I am an artist, not a typist.
Candice (correct spelling!:))

I cannot tell you how many times I have typed something them posted it only to realize that I either left out a word or that I had a typo.  But any one who really knows me understands that I am far from perfect.

If you go to the Unity Stamp Co.  blog (Linked on the left) Agela will have a new stamp set posted for the weekly give away.  I am very glad I have had the opportunity to work with theses stamps.  I had stopped pulling them out like I used to do when creating.  In fact a few years ago I donate over 1,000 stamps to the Ronald McDonald house for their craft room.  No I was not getting out of staping but my collection had grown to a ridiculous size since stamping has been a hobby of mine since 1990.  It felt good knowing they were going to get used.

The card in the picture when created I thought it was great.  Now that I look back on it Iwonder what I was thinking when I made it?  Hmmmm?  I will never know, but none the less I think it is important to share our finest pieces as well as the pieces that make youscratch your head in wonder.  I know I sure am while I look at it.

Niki, we all know you can’t spell, and that’s perfectly OK. I know your mind works a lot faster than your fingers do, so just keep being you. We wouldn’t have you any other way – what fun would you not being Niki be?
