Color Combinations & resist

REMOVED FOR PUBLICATION

This card was  hard to photograph.  The cardstock is Bazzill Bling.  Very shiny.  I created the distressed finish by layering colors blue, red, brown.  The tool I used was the Memories Essential Wheel by Clearsnap.  The wheel has a sticky surface and you can add anything you want to it – then roll it in ink for a custom background.

I first rolled it in Watermark by Clearsnap.  The watermark ink is clear and it creates a resist of what ever image you use.  I also used it as an embossing agent.  The Stamp is one of the Unity new releases.

Color combinations are fun to play with.  Color can create moods and evoke emmotions.  The brown has a hint of red to it and the red is more of a cherry.  Not the typical colors you see on a butterfly. I will be posting 3 versions of this same stamp over the next few days.  I really had a lot of fun playing with backgrounds and creating different feels.

Also if I do not update it is because my Mother is flying in for the week.  Then on Thursday Carla and the kids come down.  We are going to have a houseful next weekend.
