Halloween, Houses and Happenings

Who me?

Halloween kicks off my favorite time of year.  I am not sure if it is decorating the house for the upcoming holidays, cooler days and being able to wear sweaters or if it is all of the Fall foods.  I love almost anything with pumpkin in it and I love soups, stews and roasts.  To me these are fall.

This is a dish that requires a little work but it is well worth it in the end.  So for all my foodie friends http://www.thekitchn.com/thekitchn/main-dish/chef-recipe-pumpkin-ravioli-in-a-parmesan-fondue-with-a-red-wine-reduction-070512

YUM YUM YUM!!!!

I hope you will try this dish.   Now that Halloween is over the fall decorations are going to start appearing.  Being in the south we do not really have a change of the season like we did in Ohio.   Here on the coast we have pine trees, pine trees and more pine trees. Oh, you can sprinkle in the occasional palm tree but they both stay green.  Since the trees stay green I think I am going to decorate the interior of the house with lots of oranges, reds and yellows.

If you noticed the changes on the blog, I hope you like them.  You will see a few more as time allows.  If you would like to sign up and have the posts appear in you email there is a sign up on the right.  I promise not to fill your in-box with more than a few posts a week.  Fridays, will be fast projects and for the next 6 weeks I am participating in a Sizzix blog hop.  There is a link on the side that will take you to the hop and all around.
