Fast Friday project #3

Simple yet elegant

This gift tin is very quick and easy to make and can be filled with almost anything.  Plus it ca be re-used again and again.  This tin in particular was packaging from Prima flowers that was repurposed.  Empty tins can be purchased at most craft stores.

Materials: GCD Studio pattern paper, Clearsnap Chalk Ink and Design Adhesive, Colorbox Glitter, Scallop die, Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue®

Directions: Cut strip of paper to fit around container.  Ink edges and adhere to container.  Secure with a rubberband while drying.  Cut scallop square.  Apply Design Adhesive to paper and follow manufactures directions.  Sprinkle on glitter then tap to remove excess.  Adhere to container and viola!  These are so quick and easy you could make a dozen in an afternoon.  Fill it up and you are ready to give away.  This idea could be adapted to any season with a change of design on the tag.   Hearts for Valentine’s Day, a turkey for Thanksgiving.  Your options are unlimited with this Fast Friday project.
