Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop #3 – Blooming Bands

This week we are working with the most wonderful felt from National Nonwovens and a new die Flower, Beauty Bloom, Originals Die #655455 by Brenda Pinnick.  My baby girl has lost most of her hair and unless she is dressed in pink there is confusion.  When I saw this set I immediately though of a little headband for the girl.  The girl and the big girls ended up with one each.  My friend Keri was in town visiting when we made these.  We both had them on when a visitor stopped by.  After the visitor left we started cracking up since we all had flowers in our hair.  The photos below show the rseults.

The girl is not happy in this photo but it was the best of the photos we shot.  Below is the picture of the stretchy headband that I added the flower to.

She was much happier in this photo.  Keri was making her laugh out loud and squeal. The sounds were so cute.  I forgot how sweet those sounds are.  The photo below are an up close shot of mine.

The flowers were embellished with Stickles and layered together with Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue®.

How cute are you?! I love the headbands. My daughter didn’t have any hair for a couple of years. She was rockin’ a combo of Eddie Munster widow’s peak and male-pattern-baldness. I wish I’d had a headband like this for her!
